March 9, 2012: The latest featured team site is the South Central Sierra Incident Management Team, where David Cooper is the IC and website coordinator. Check out their site!

The Wildland Fire Lessons Learned Center has recognized that many of the teams using IMTCenter.net have created fabulous websites. We have begun featuring these websites, which exemplify the different functions available to them on IMTCenter.net, on a monthly basis. This will allow other teams to see how the websites are being used.

Get Your Team Set Up

Over 130 IMT`s from across the nation have begun to set up their new Team Center sites. Each team has already designated a site coordinator and they, along with their alternate, have been invited to join a private neighborhood created for them at the Community Center. Most have attended a Web conference call online training session to help them get oriented to the site`s editing tools.

More Incident Management Teams will be set up with sites on a first come, first served basis. Interested teams are welcome to contact the Team Center Administrators by sending an email to Brenna MacDowell, or Dave Christenson, to be added to the waiting list. Please include the team`s name, Incident Commander`s full name, and type of team along with the name and contact information of the person that will be the team`s point of contact when the time comes to set up your team`s site.

Your ideas on how the Team Center might help meet the need to share knowledge between teams will be seriously considered.
